Hi, I'm Diezel.

I'm Dominique, though most people call me Diezel.


I picked up a camera in 2009 as a college kid with a Nikon D5000 and a hunch that some moments were worth keeping.


My wife Ariane and I turned that into Captured by Diezel in 2021. Since then I've photographed families of four and families of forty, high school seniors, expecting parents, weddings, conferences, and enough corporate headshots to fill a building directory.


Here's what I've learned in all of it: almost nobody is comfortable in front of a camera at first. The job isn't to pose you into looking natural. It's to talk with you long enough that you forget I'm there. That's when the good ones happen.

I direct the whole way. You'll never be left standing there wondering what to do with your hands. Mostly I'll talk with you until you forget I'm working.

After


A few previews within 48 hours, then your full gallery within two weeks. Download, share, order prints, whatever you want.

When I'm not behind a camera


I'm a husband to Ariane and a dad to two toddlers, which is the real reason I'm good with kids who won't sit still.


My faith is a big part of my life, and I lead a small group at my church. I'm also an unapologetic anime nerd, and I will absolutely talk your ear off about it if you let me.


Mostly, I just like people. That's probably why this job fits.
